Navy Beach Fundraiser Raises Over $10,000

Navy Beach hosted their third annual fundraiser to help raise awareness and funds for the Navy SEAL Foundation this past Saturday.

The event consisted of a cocktail party, “Honoring our Warriors. Supporting their Families,” at the East Hampton restaurant that was attended by over 100 guests including U.S. Coast Guard from the Montauk station and Larry Kelly, Former Senior Rule of Law Advisor U.S. State Department Southern Iraq and Navy Seal Foundation representative.

The cocktail party also featured live music by Nancy Atlas.

The event raised just over $10,000 with the help of auction items donated by: Heron Yacht Charters, The Montauk Beach House, Hyatt Regency San Francisco, SOULCYCLE, Moet Hennessy, Turquoise Life, Body Tech Fitness, Bazillion Bag Co. and Ramy Brook.

“Navy Beach is honored to support the Navy SEAL Foundation for the third year in a row, and to build upon the results we achieved together in 2014,” partner Frank Davis said. “We feel fortunate to be able to put our efforts towards assisting the Navy SEAL Foundation ‘programs with purpose’ and in a small way supporting these warriors and their families. The experience has been rewarding and the local community’s response and support has been tremendous.

The fundraising will continue at the restaurant through Labor Day, when a donation of $1 will be added to each dining check in support of the Navy SEAL Foundation.

Guests will also be able to increase the value of the donation if they like.

In an effort to improve upon the $20,000 raised for the foundation last year, Navy Beach will again match the first $2,500 raised through this season’s efforts.
