MONTAUK, NY — For the fourth season in a row, a popular Montauk restaurant has spent a season giving back.
Navy Beach has raised $30,000 for the Navy SEAL Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that provides immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare community and their families.
This year's $30,000 brings the four-year total of fundraising for NSF to more than $90,000, Navy Beach said in a release.

Efforts included a “dine & donate” program running from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day during which lunch and dinner checks collected at least $1 per meal while allowing customers to donate additional funds, too.
In addition, an annual cocktail party fundraiser in June was attended by local residents and business owners as well as active and retired members of the Naval Special Warfare community.

This year’s guest of honor was Long Island native RDML, SEAL, Thomas R. Richards, USN ret., former Commander of Naval Special Warfare Command, a highly decorated veteran.
“Navy Beach has been truly fortunate over the last four years to both work with the Navy SEAL Foundation to assist the Naval Special Warfare community and to also be able to sponsor our efforts within East Hampton and Montauk where support for our veterans and patriotic roots run deep,” said Navy Beach partner Frank Davis.
“Over the last four years, Navy Beach has worked tirelessly to raise funds and awareness in support of the Navy SEAL Foundation’s mission of service to the warriors and families of Naval Special Warfare. Each year we are humbled by the generosity of Navy Beach and the Montauk and larger Hamptons’ community. The support generated is critical to those we serve and we cannot thank you enough,” said Marc Wolf, Director of Development, New York Region, Navy SEAL Foundation.
Next year's kickoff will be held on Saturday, June 17.
“The experience has been rewarding and the local community’s response and support has been tremendous. We look forward to continuing our partnership with the Navy SEAL Foundation in the future and continue to look for even more ways to help increase awareness for the foundation and its efforts while also helping to raise the funds required for the organization to carry out its core mission," Davis added.
