Navy Beach Raises $35K For Navy SEAL Foundation
A total of $125,000 has been raised over the past five seasons.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — Navy Beach has once again spent the season raising funds for the Navy SEAL Foundation — bringing in $35,000 this year, with a total of $125,000 raised over four years.
The Navy Seal Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that provides immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare community and their families, Navy Beach said.
Efforts this season included a “dine & donate” program in place from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day during which lunch and dinner checks collected at least $1 per meal; customers also donated additional funds.

Also featured was the annual cocktail party fundraiser in June, which included thoughts from Mike Zapata, a former United States Navy SEAL who was deployed many times to Afghanistan, Iraq, the Horn of Africa, and other locations in the Middle East and West Africa.
Zapata, Navy Beach reps said, has been an active supporter of the Navy SEAL Foundation since transitioning out of the military and entering the field of investment management, where he is currently founder and portfolio manager of Sententia Capital Management.
