Neighbors to Local Billionaire Angered After Construction Leaves Sand Dune in Front of Home

Barry Rosenstein, local hedge fund activist, purchased the home last year.

The neighbor’s surrounding Barry Rosenstein’s, billionaire hedge fund activist, $147 million East Hampton estate recently expressed their anger after construction left a giant sand dune in front of his home, according to a report in Page Six.

“Barry Rosenstein’s sand mountain looms up above the trees and fills the horizon,” an unidentified neighbor told Page Six. “As you face the sea, it looks like the Sahara.”

Rosenstein purchased the Further Lane home in May 2014, which was the most expensive residential property in the country at the time and is surrounded by famous neighbors including comedian Jerry Seinfeld, art dealer Larry Gagosian, billionaire hedge fund managers Jim Chanos and Steven Cohen, according to the report.
