PHOTO: East Hampton Little League Champs Take in Citi Field

Boys have fun on an outing to celebrate their big win.

The East Hampton Little League's National Division champions spent Saturday at Citi Field, taking in a Mets game with head coach Steve Minskoff.

Christina DeSanti, whose husband Rudy was the assistant coach, said Minskoff took the team there to celebrate. She told Patch the kids ran into an old teammate who moved to New York City last year. "He had been on the team when they won their division three years ago and the coach also took them to a Mets game that year, so it seemed like good karma that he was there with them today by some strange coincidence and the boys ran into him at the dunk tank!"

It sounds like the boys had a great time. The Mets even gave them a warm welcome; their team name went up on the big screen.
