Photos: 40th Annual Turkey Trot 'Run for Fun' Brings Out Crowd

MONTAUK, NY — On Thanksgiving morning, Main Street in Montauk was the place to work up an appetite for the traditional Thanksgiving Day stuffing — both of the turkey and the people — to follow, during the 40th Annual Turkey Trot "Run For Fun".

Co-sponsors "The Montauk Realtor" John Keeshan Real Estate and John Rooney, superintendent of the East Hampton Town parks a recreation Department teamed up to those the 40th Annual Turkey Trot "Run For Fun".

Runners registered for either the three mile or the six mile run around Fort Pond.

Although it was a run for fun, here is a list of first place winners in their category:
