Photos: Holiday Spirit in the Air at Annual Amagansett Open House
Groundworks@HRENS hosts the holiday event every year.
EAST HAMPTON, NY — Even the old-fashioned "Christmas Trees" sign on Montauk Highway in Amagansett was traditional this past weekend, as Groundworks@HRENS held its annual "Traditional Open House".
Groundworks partners Kim Hren, Linda and Andy Silich hosted the event, where homemade wreaths, specially selected premium trees, ornaments, lights, eggnog, and everything else for a family holiday were spotlighted.
Among the many guests at the nursery — formerly Jos. A. Hren Nurseries", run by the late Joseph Anton Hren, Jr. since were generations of Hrens and their families.

Music was in the air, as Linda Silich joined Sarah Conway and her "Christmas On the Rocks" band for some caroling. On another musical note, Nancy Atlas was seen with her children, all wearing matching festive holiday hats.
