Police: East Hampton Man Arrested After Punching Man in the Mouth
The victim placed the man under 'citizens arrest,' police say.

An East Hampton man was arrested after a fight in East Hampton Village last week, East Hampton Village Police reported Monday.
Police responded to Newtown Lane in East Hampton Village in reference to a fight in progress at about 9:40 a.m. on Monday, June 22.
Upon arrival, police spoke with the victim who said he was punched in the mouth by the Alexander Piccirillo, 65, police said.

Piccirillo stated to police that he approached the victim to try to ‘make amends’ from a previous business deal, according to police.
Both men began arguing and Piccirillo said that the man spit in his face, according to police.

Piccirillo admitted to striking the victim once in the mouth with a closed fist, according to police.
The victim then put him under civilians arrest until the officers arrived, police said.
Piccirillo was charged with second degree harrassment, according to police.
