Police Seeking Men Who Stole Items From Boat in Montauk

Several items were stolen from a boat docked at West Lake Marina in July, police say.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and find the four men who stole items from a boat in July.

Fishing reels and binoculars were stolen from a boat while it was docked at the West Lake Marina in Montauk on July 29 sometime between 3:10 a.m. and 3:30 a.m., police said.

Police suspect four men, who were seen in a newer model white Chrysler 200 LX four-door sedan, were involved, according to police.

The car may have out-of-state license plates, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
