Popular Montauk Restaurant Sold
The restaurant will open under the new owners on Friday.

Shagwong, the popular Montauk restaurant that has hosted celebrities such as Andy Warhol and the Rolling Stones, was recently sold after it was on the market for four years, for $3 million.
The restaurant, located on 774 Montauk Highway, will open under the new owners, real estate developer Jon Kasner and partner Beau Campsey, on Friday, according to a Newsday report.
Customers can expect live music, a new jukebox and a ‘steamlined but familiar menu which will include burgers, steak, fried calamari and locally caught fish, according to Newsday.
