Sag Harbor Businesses to Offer Student Discounts
The program was started at the suggestion of local teams during a Speak Out event last Spring.

Sag Harbor business have agreed to offer student discounts thanks to a program requested by Pierson students at last March’s teen Speak Out, an event organized by The Sag Harbor Coalition, Sag Harbor Youth Committee and the Youth Resource Center.
Six local businesses - BuddhaBerry, Conca D’Oro, Harbor Market, Bay Burger, Cove Deli and SagTown - will be offering after-school discounts to Pierson Middle/High School students with school IDs.
To kick off the program, BuddhaBerry, Harbor Market and SagTown are offering 10% off.

Conca D’Oro is putting together a pizza and soda special and Bay Burger is offering a burger and fries special.

Other businesses have expressed interest in participating.
The discount program was coordinated by the directors of the Sag Harbor and Debbie Skinner of the Youth Resource Center.
The Sag Harbor Coalition directors have been asked to present the teen program to Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce board on December 7 in hopes of further expanding the program’s reach and goodwill amongst that membership.
Last summer, a Hampton Hopper Sagg Main Beach shuttle and a new series of summer internships were both created as suggested by local teens during the Speak Out event.
