Sag Harbor Elementary School Hosts Second Annual Coat Drive

Two local sisters started the drive last year.

For the second year in a row, Sag Harbor Elementary School students donated hundreds of coats to the “Kids Need Warmth” coat drive.

The drive, which was held throughout the month of November, started with a kick-off at the morning program when sisters Marina and Nola Hollyer introduced “Buddy the Cuddle Monster” to their peers.

The sisters created buddy last year to collect gently used coats and jackets.
