Sag Harbor School District Appoints New Athletic Director
The director will begin his new position on Friday.

The Sag Harbor School District announced that it has appointed Eric Bramoff, a 1996 graduate of Pierson High School, as its new Director of Athletics, Physical Education, Health and Wellness and Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds.
Bramoff was appointed to the full-time position by the Board of Education during a special meeting on Monday and will begin his role as director on Friday.
βWe are pleased to welcome one of Sag Harborβs own to our administrative team,β Superintendent of Schools Katy Graves said. βMr. Bramoff brings with him the experience and enthusiasm that we have been looking for.β

Most recently, he served as athletic director of the Bridgehampton School DistrictΒ where he expanded the districtβs athletic programs to include two new sporting teams while also supervising all coaches and support staff.
Before have moved back to the Hamptons, Bramoff worked for the Syracuse City School District as a physical education teacher for ten years and was the varsity basketball coach for I.T. C High School in Syracuse and Onondaga High School where he was also a junior varsity basketball coach.

In addition he served as the Coordinator of Coaching at the Syracuse Sportcenter and junior Varsity Coach at Fowler High School.
When it comes to Sag Harbor, Bramoff previously taught physical education at Pierson Middle/High School and was coach of the 2015 varsity softball championship team.
He graduated from State University of New York College at Cortland with a Bachelors of Education and from American International University with a Masters of Education.
He also holds a certification as a water safety instructor and Suffolk County Ocean Lifeguard.
