2-Year-Old Boy Airlifted After Falling Off Boat at Montauk Marina

MONTAUK, NY - A 2-year-old boy was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital after falling off a boat at the Montauk Lake Club and Marina Wednesday morning, according to East Hampton Police Captain Chris Anderson.

According to the report, the 911 call came in at 11:13 a.m., from the marina, which is located on 211 East Lake Drive in Montauk.

"The child was unconscious and not breathing," Anderson said, of when police arrived on the scene. 

But, by the time he was airlifted, the child was "conscious and alert," Anderson said.
