Small Fire Breaks Out at East Hampton Village Gym
The fire was reported on Friday morning.
A small mechanical fire broke out at an East Hampton Village gym on Friday morning, according to the East Hampton Village Police.
Officers responded to a report of a structure fire at the gym at the lower level of Citarella building on Montauk Highway at about 7:27 a.m. and found smoke in the building, according to police.
Police determined that to be from the trash compactor and exhaust fans.
