Springs School Pays Homage to Local Heroes

Springs Public School celebrated “Law Enforcement Appreciation Day” during the school’s Spirit Meet, which recognizes students who exemplify the positive traits of character education.

Police officers from the East Hampton Town Police Department, East Hampton Village Police Department and New York State Parks Police Department visited students for an inspirational program.

EHTPD Chief Sarlo introduced each service member and spoke of their important roles in protecting the community and helping those in need.

Students of the Week received a special honor from officers who helped present their awards and posed for pictures.
