EAST HAMPTON, NY — Friday's storm sparked a sea of downed trees and flooding in East Hampton.
According to East Hampton Town Highway Superintendent Stephen Lynch, trees were down on Gerard Drive, as well as along Bull Path, blocking both lanes of travel.
Earlier in the day, Lynch said, trees were also down on Springs Fireplace Road, Lynch said, with one felled between Wainscott Northwest and Eastgate, and another down on Hedges Lane in Amagansett.
