Three Injured in Accident in North Haven

The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon.

Three people were injured after a three-car accident on Ferry Road in North Haven on Sunday afternoon.

Police believe one car left the northbound lane of traffic, crossing into the opposite southbound lane on Route 114 by Stock Farm Lane at 2 p.m., according to 27east.

All injuries appeared to have been non-life threatening, however two people were hospitalized, including one who was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital, according to 27east.

Parts of Ferry Road was closed down for about two hours, according to a report in The Sag Harbor Express.

Both the Sag Harbor and East Hampton Volunteer Ambulance responded to the accident as well as the Sag Harbor Fire Department, according to the report.
