EAST HAMPTON, NY — East Hampton town officials are asking residents to take part in a new survey and weigh in with their thoughts on a new senior center.

The new center will be located at 403 Abraham’s Path in Amagansett.

According to the town, in December 2021, R2 Architecture, a woman-owned joint venture between Ross Barney Architects of Chicago and Ronnette Riley Architect, a New York City-based firm with a branch office in Bridgehampton, was hired for the project.

to share ideas, feedback and become co-collaborators, officials said.

During the sessions, the R2 team spoke with more than 120 residents, current senior center users, community members, staff, and elected representatives, "to shape a future vision for the new center," town officials said.

The new virtual survey is available in English and Spanish here. Surveys can be completed anytime through July 26. Only one survey per person should be submitted. You do not have to be a senior to respond.
