Unlicensed Man Caught With Drugs, Hypodermic Needle; Driving Car Without Permission: Police
The man's license had been suspended eight times and revoked once, police said.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — An unlicensed East Patchogue man was caught with drugs and a hypodermic needled while driving a car without the owner's permission, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, John J. Vetter, 51, was arrested on October 15 at 9:10 p.m. on Three Mile Harbor Road and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, possession of a hypodermic instrument, a misdemeanor, second degree aggravated unlicensed operation/three or more open suspensions on three or more separate dates, a misdemeanor, and unauthorized use of a vehicle without owner consent, a misdemeanor.

Vetter was driving a 2004 Chevrolet north on Three Mile Harbor Road near Spring Banks Road when he was stopped, police said.
