Woman Charged With DWI After Crash Caught With Stolen Vehicle: PD
She was arrested after a crash in Wainscott, police say.

WAINSCOTT, NY — A Los Angeles, California woman was arrested in Wainscott recently after she was found driving while intoxicated after a crash with a vehicle that had been reported stolen, police said.
According to East Hampton Town police, Ashley Hayes Goodrich-Mahoney, 40, was arrested at 6:22 p.m. on Montauk Highway in Wainscott after a crash and charged with driving while intoxicated, first offense. She was also charged with aggravated DWI: per se, BAC of .18 of 1 percent or more alcohol in blood, no priors, a misdemeanor, police said.
She was found in possession of a gray 2021 Honda Odyssey that had been reported stolen on July 25 in Southampton; the vehicle was valued at $35,000, police said. Goodrich-Mahoney was also charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, vehicle, not motorcycle, a felony, police said.
