Woman Charged With DWI After Crash: Cops
She hit the curb and veered off into a wooded area, police say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — A New York City woman was charged with driving drunk after she was involved in a crash in East Hampton, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, Lynne R. Davidson, 74, was arrested on Aug. 30 at 10:30 p.m. on Three Mile Harbor Hog Creek Road after she ran off the roadway, struck a curb, and crashed into a wooded area of the northbound shoulder.
Upon investigation, she was found to have the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath, bloodshot, glassy eyes, and slurred speech; she was unsteady on her feet and performed poorly on standardized field sobriety tests, police said.

Davidson was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, first offense, a misdemeanor, and aggravated DWI: per se BAC .18 of 1% or more alcohol in blood, no priors, a misdemeanor, police said.
She was released on her own recognizance, police said.
