Woman Charged With DWI After Crash: Police
She was driving a 2016 Mercedes on Stephen Hands Path when the crash took place, police say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — A Brooklyn woman was arrested and charged with drunk driving after she was involved in an East Hampton crash, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, Deborah J. Lyons, 56, was arrested on Sunday at 12:25 p.m. on Stephen Hands Path, near Bull Path, after she was driving a 2016 Mercedes south and crashed.
Upon investigation, she was found to have the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath, bloodshot, glassy eyes, and slurred speech; she was also unsteady on her feet and performed poorly and standardized field sobriety tests administered, police said.

She was charged with driving while intoxicated, first offense, a misdemeanor, police said.
