Woman Crashes Into 2 Utility Poles: Cops
The crash occurred on Abrahams Path; she was charged Sunday morning of driving while impaired by drugs, police say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — An East Hampton woman was arrested and charged with driving while impaired by drugs after she crashed into two utility poles recently, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, Judith A. Mayer, 68, was arrested on Sunday, April 28 on Abrahams Path near Town Lane and charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, first offense, a misdemeanor.
Mayor was driving a 2018 Land Rover north on Abrahams Path and crashed into two utility poles, police said. Upon contact, her speech was slurred, her pupils constricted, she was extremely unsteady on her feet, she had poor coordination, her movements were sluggish, and she displayed an inability to focus, police said. She was administered standard field sobriety tests and performed poorly on all; she was also administered advanced roadside impaired driving enforcement tests in which indications of impairment were present, police said.
