Woman Facing Felony Assault Charge: Cops
She allegedly struck a person 65 years of age or older, police say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — An East Hampton woman is facing a felony assault charge after she injured another person over the age of 65, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, Nina K. Schafer, 54, was arrested on March 24 at 6:15 p.m. on Oakview Hwy. in East Hampton and charged with second degree assault, injuring a victim 65 or older, defendant at least 10 years younger, a felony.
Schafer struck a person aged 65 or older, causing a laceration above the left eye, police said.

She was released on her own recognizance, police said.
