Woman Steals Credit Card In Hamptons, Charges More Than $2K: Cops

She admitted to stealing the card from a well-known Hamptons eatery, police say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — An East Hampton woman stole a credit card and charged more than $2,000, police said.

According to East Hampton Village Police, Julie Bradley, 62, was arrested on July 28 at 1:02 p.m. and charged with fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property, a felony, and fourth degree grand larceny, a felony.

Bradley admitted stealing an American Express card from the Golden Pear on Newtown Lane and making several charges totaling $2,055.76, police said.

She was processed and released on $500 bail; she will be arraigned on Aug. 16 at East Hampton Town Justice Court, police said.
