Workshop Aimed At Empowering Girls Kicks Off New Session
Registration is now open for the upcoming session, beginning in February.
EAST HAMPTON, NY —A workshop aimed at empowering girls will be offered again this winter in East Hampton.
The Young Cowgirls Workshops are "based in dance theater for girls to dive deep, explore, and bravely emerge with authenticity, compassion and a voice connected to herself," according to the group's Facebook page.
The Young Cowgirls Workshop starts up again at Guild Hall beginning the last Tuesday of February. To sign up your daughter, ages eight to 12, call Jennifer Brondo at Guild Hall at 631-324-4051.

The new session is called "Young Cowgirls Make Waves," said Kate Mueth, founder and director of the Neo-Political Cowgirls, a not-for-profit company of women dedicated to creating innovative dance theatre that explores the female voice.
