2 Adults, 2 Children Displaced After East Meadow House Fire, Fire Marshals Say
Approximately 60 firefighters were on scene battling the fire in a split-level home, fire marshals say.
EAST MEADOW, NY — A family of four has been displaced after a house fire in East Meadow on Thursday, fire marshals said.
The Wantagh Fire Department responded to Wagstaff Drive to find fire in a split-level home at 4:51 p.m., the Nassau County Fire Marshal's Office said.
No injuries were reported, but two adults and two children have been displaced, fire marshals said.

The fire was brought under control in about 30 minutes with approximately 60 firefighters on scene, fire marshals said. Mutual aid assistance was provided by Levittown, Bethpage, and North Bellmore Fire Departments, all under the command of Chief Stevens, fire marshals said.
The NCFM Investigators and the Nassau County Police Department Arson Bomb Squad are investigating the cause of the fire, fire marshals said.
