2 Females Shot In Nassau: Police
Police are classifying the incident as an attempted killing and are seeking information from the public, authorities said.
HEMPSTEAD, NY — Police are investigating an attempted killing Saturday in Hempstead, authorities said.
Officers responded around 1:30 a.m. to a ShotSpotter activation on Polk Avenue, where they found two females with gunshot wounds, according to authorities.
The victims were taken to nearby hospitals, with one in critical condition and the other in stable condition, police said.
