2 Men Attacked Another With Baseball Bat, Robbed Him On Christmas
Nassau County police are searching for the two attackers, who they say made off with the man's cash after hitting him with a bat.
UNIONDALE, NY — Nassau County police are searching for two men who attacked and robbed another on a street in Uniondale in the afternoon on Christmas.
According to police, a 26-year-old man was walking south on Nostrand Avenue near the Northern State Parkway at 3:45 p.m. when he passed two other men. The men began to follow him and told him to stop multiple times, which he did not. Soon the men grabbed the victim from behind and hit him with a baseball bat. The two men then took cash from the victim's pocket and fled north on Nostrand Avenue.
The victim had a cut on the left side of his head from the attack. Police say he refused medical attention.

The first attacker was a black man with a thin build, wearing a black hat, sweatshirt, sweatpants and a mask. The second attacker was a white man wearing a black hat, sweatshirt, mask and grey sweatpants.
Police ask anyone with information about this attack to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
