2 Men Steal $5,000 Of Electronics From East Meadow Walmart: Police
The robbery took place just after 9 p.m. Saturday at the Hempstead Turnpike location.

EAST MEADOW, NY — The Walmart on Hempstead Turnpike was robbed on Saturday evening.
A 23-year-old man, working as a loss prevention agent at the East Meadow store, observed two men in the electronics department placing assorted items into their shopping cart.
They asked a store employee for assistance with Apple watches. When the display was opened, the men grabbed nine watches, authorities said.

They also took two PlayStation headphones and three breast pumps. The total value of items taken is just under $5,000, police said.
As the men left the store without paying, the worker, along with another store employee, approached.

A physical struggle ensued as the victims attempted to secure the merchandise.
The suspects fled the parking lot northbound on Newbridge Road in a grey BMW four-door sedan.
