4 Children Left In Car At East Meadow Walmart: Police
Ilania Rios faces four counts of endangering the welfare of a child, police said.

EAST MEADOW, NY — A woman was arrested on Thursday morning after leaving four young children unattended in a parked car at Walmart, police said.
Ilania Rios, 26, of Philadelphia, was placed under arrest without incident, authorities said.
Just before 7 a.m., officers found the children (a 7-year-old girl, a 5-year-old boy, a 3-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl) in the locked vehicle at the Walmart on Hempstead Turnpike.

The children were brought to a local hospital for evaluation and were released into foster care services.
Rios is charged with four counts of endangering the welfare and is expected to be arraigned on Friday.
