We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. An elderly man was seriously injured in a moped crash in Westbury Monday morning.According to police, an 83-year-old man was riding a moped south on the bicycle path along the east side of Merrick Avenue around 11:30 Monday morning. Police say a 55-year-old man driving a 2007 BMW south on Merrick Avenue hit the moped as he turned left onto Park Boulevard, which is the entrance to Eisenhower Park. Police say the moped driver was thrown off and landed face-down on the pavement. He suffered severe head trauma and was taken to a local hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.The driver of the BMW wasn't injured.
