The Garden City Bird Sanctuary/ Tanners Pond Environmental Center's Fifth Annual Benefit Yard Sale taking place this Saturday, April 27th from 9am to 3pm. Lovely estate items are available from many sellers at this large sale. For the antique collector, there is a nice range to choose from. There are many categories of things for sale: collectibles, furniture, housewares, china, sports equipment, books, clothes and much more. All are reasonably priced. Table rental fees will go towards valuable programs at the sanctuary. After the sale, take a leisurely stroll around the trails of the sanctuary. The next event is the Twilight Tour on Saturday, May 11th from 5 pm to 7 pm. Garden City Bird Sanctuary is located across from 181 Tanners Pond Road. The site is open to the public on weekends from 12 noon to 5 pm and by appointment. We welcome new members and volunteers.
