Just before Mother’s Day, on Saturday, May
10th, BBBSLI is inviting individuals, groups and families to participate in
their Annual 5K Walk at Eisenhower Park, in East Meadow, NY. With the growing number of children on Long
Island in need of a mentor, BBBSLI’s Annual 5K Walk provides community members
the opportunity to support mentorship and encourage volunteerism. Currently, BBBSLI has a waiting list of
children to be matched with mentors, and they are actively seeking more involvement
from the community.
