• 8U Lady Rebels Summer Sizzle Champions: The 8U NBNM Lady Rebels Gold won the annual East Meadow “Summer Sizzle” girls softball tournament on Sunday August 11, 2013, defeating the Levittown Athletic Club’s Force 11-10 in the championship game.

• Volunteer at Cancer Fundraiser: My name is Ann-Marie and I work for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). LLS raises money to find a cure for blood cancer, as well as to support the patients and their families who are currently fighting it.
• Bellmore-Merrick PTA Council Installs New Officers: The Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District Council of PTAs recently held its annual dinner honoring its members for their work during the past school year and installing its new officers.
