Coincidences?

I call up my sister and she says, "I was just thinking of you!" I want to hang up and call her back in two hours when she is NOT 'just thinking of me.' 

I'm driving to work and thinking about my high school reunion which is coming up. I turn on the radio, and there it is! My song..when Jake and I were dating...in high school!

I'm looking for this handbag, but I need it in taupe. I survey the display..black, gray, white and red. I am discouraged and about to turn away, when another customer brings back to the table, the bag I want..in taupe!! I look at her and she smiles saying, "It doesn't really match the shoes I bought." She walks away. I have my bag!

I am late for my doctor's appointment. I am nervous, because the receptionist is a loud mouth.(How does she keep her job?!) Anticipating a lecture on the 'importance of being punctual', I am surprised to hear her say, "So glad you are a little late. The doctor is still at the hospital and should be here in a few minutes."

It's the first day of summer vacation and I am alone in the yard. I start thinking of my best friend who I have not seen nor spoken to, in 5 years. The doorbell rings..(by now you've got it)..it's my friend, paying me a surprise visit!!

If you were to ask my husband what this all means, he would say that these were all examples of coincidences. But I say, how many coincidences must one have to accept the Law of Attraction and dump 'coincidence' to the side of the road?

I believe the Universe is playing a major role in our individual lives. Knowing that we ARE capable of sending forth energy, via our thoughts, isn't it also feasible to accept that the Universe 'hears us' and responds? For me, and many others (certainly I am not the only one here that believes this!) there is no such thing as coincidence. What comes to us, is a result of what we put forth.

My husband would agree with that, at some lower level. I remember him telling our kids.."If you study hard, you'll pass the test, and if you work hard, you'll make money."  Of course, he's right..but let's get deep!! Through the years, this "Law of Attraction" has been talked about and written about. There have been 'visualization classes' and people have become rich by promoting 'vision boards' and  writing books on topics such as 'learning the secret to success and wealth'. As for me,  biblically speaking..some guy in the Old Testament said something that goes like this: "You reap your rewards from the seeds you plant." I say, in the year 2012, don't plant your seeds in the ground; give your seeds OUT and you shall receive your rewards, back, one hundred fold!! Think positive, stay positive.  But the reverse is just as true. Think negative, be negative!

Which reminds me of the time I went to Atlantic City with my friend. I did not know, at that time, what a negative person she would be! Every other word from her mouth was negative. "I'm losing." "I can't win to save my life." "I've lost 50 dollars." Oy vey!! She made me sick with all her negativity!! I swear, I felt physically drained! Needless to say, I never went with her to AC again, after that! 

When you desire something, strongly, place your subconscious thoughts into high gear and ...you'll get it!! You wanted to read something new. You wanted to meet a newly inspired blogger. That was your desire. Guess what? It worked! You found me! Peace.
