Cops: East Meadow Man Swiped Cash from Snack Shop
Matthew Reginella charged with burglary after he was caught on tape taking cash from register at Salisbury Park, cops said.
A man faces burglary charges after Nassau County Police say he was caught on tape stealing cash from an East Meadow park's snack shop.
Matthew Reginella, 22, of East Meadow, was seen on video surveillance at Town of Hempstead's Salisbury Park Ball Field in East Meadow taking cash from the snack shop register, cops said.
Reginella was identified as the culprit and located at his home where he was taken into custody by police at 12:20 a.m. Friday, cops said.

The amount of cash stolen was not reported.
Police said the incident happened at 10:05 a.m. Wednesday.

Reginella was charged with third-degree burglary. He will be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Hempstead.
