Cops: Man Charged in East Meadow Bank Robbery
Westbury man held up Capital One in September, cops said.

A Westbury man has been charged in a bank robbery last month in East Meadow, according to Nassau County Police.
Joseph Occhiogrosso, 38, was located Thursday by detectives and Special Operations officers at Murray Road and Field Lane in Westbury, cops said. He was charged with two counts of third-degree robbery.
Occhiogrosso was arrested in connection with a Sept. 15 robbery of Capital One on Stewart Avenue, cops said.

At 1:39 p.m., Occhiogrosso handed a demand note to a teller, who handed over an unknown amount of cash, police said. Five employees and three customers were inside the bank at the time. No one was reportedly injured.
Occhiogrosso was also charged in a similar robbery on Oct. 8 at Bethpage Federal Credit Union in Westbury, cops said.

Occhiogrosso will be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Hempstead.
