Cops: Men Stole 22 iPads from East Meadow Walmart

Men took $12,000 worth of iPads from Walmart, cops said.

Nassau County Police released surveillance photos of two men they say stole thousands of dollars worth of electronics from an East Meadow store.

Cops said the two subjects took 22 iPads from Walmart on Hempstead Turnpike and ran from the scene in an unknown direction. The total value of the stolen goods topped $12,000, police said.

The theft happened Oct. 5 at 3:35 p.m., cops said.

The first subject was described as a white man, 25-30 years old, and was wearing a gray button down shirt, blue jeans, black knit cap, and brown boots.

The second subject was described as a white man, 30-35 years old, and was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
