Council of East Meadow Community Organizations Holding Meeting

The public meeting will address HUB development, traffic and legalized marijuana.

The Council of East Meadow Community Organizations (CEMCO) is holding a community meeting on Thursday, May 16 at 7 p.m. at the East Meadow Firehouse adjacent to the library, located at 197 East Meadow Avenue.

The threefold agenda includes a presentation on the HUB development at the Nassau County Veterans Memorial Coliseum, an update on the traffic signal at East Meadow Avenue and Front Street, and the proposed state legislation on the legalization of marijuana.

To address these issues, CEMCO has invited representatives from RXR Development, Sen. Kevin Thomas and Assemblyman John Mikulin.
