The Senior Respite Program has caring men and women available in your area who are looking for caregivers to help. Senior Respite offers Nassau County caregivers some regular weekly "time off" so they can take care of themselves. The Respite companion will visit with a homebound adult, keep them safe, and engage them in appropriate activities. Companions are carefully screened, trained, and the cost is much more affordable than most other services. Please call 516-539-0150 extension 218 for more information or to sign up.
EAC Network is a not-for-profit human services agency. Senior Respite receives funding from the New York State Office of the Aging, the Helen L. Morris Foundation, Project Independence
