East Meadow High School Named One Of Best In State

Niche.com has released its list of the best public high schools in the nation and New York for 2018, and East Meadow High School was high up on the list.

The top school in the country was Walter Payton College Prep in Chicago. In New York, it was Stuyvesant High School in Manhattan.

A total of 30 Long Island schools made the top 100 list for New York, with Great Neck South High School and Jericho High School coming in among the top 10. Last year, 35 Long Island schools were in the top 100.

2. Staten Island Technical High School
3. Bronx High School of Science
4. Great Neck South High School
5. Townsend Harris High School
6. Jericho Senior High School
7. Scarsdale High School
8. Rye High School
9. High School Math Science and Engineering at the City College of New York
10. Pittsford-Mendon High School
