East Meadow High School Students Receive National Recognition

Students named Commended Students in 2016 National Merit Scholarship program.

In the 2016 National Merit Scholarship program, eight students from East Meadow High School have been named Commended Students.

Approximately 34,000 students were recognized for their outstanding academic performance across the country. These students were placed among the top five percent of 1.5 million who entered the competition by completing the 2014 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).

The district applauds these eight students for their honorable achievements and wishes each of them a very successful senior year.
