East Meadow Public Library - Book and Movie Discussion
March 14, 2022 at 7:00 PM - Join the Reader Services Department as we discuss The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Join us on March 14 at 7:00 p.m. as we discuss what has been called the greatest detective story of all time, The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. We will also compare the book with Hammer Studio's 1959 film adaptation starring Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee. Additionally, we will discuss other film and television adaptations of the story, and how Sherlock Holmes and Watson have been depicted on screen over the years. The Hound of the Baskervilles will be shown through Zoom by the East Meadow Public Library and presented by Keith Crocker on March 11th at 1:00 pm.
