East Meadow School Election Results Are In

The results are in for the East Meadow School District, and the budget passed.

It was supported by the community, 2,317 yes to 699 no.

For the Board of Education, Eileen Napolitano defeated Brian O'Flaherty 1,646 to 1,232. And Melissa Tell defeated Joseph Danenza 1,708 to 1,157.

Residents also approved two ballot initiatives. The first, to create a capital reserve fund, passed 2,218 to 730. The second, to change the district's election process for the Board of Education to at-large elections also passed, 1,672 to 1,276.
