African/Ugandan Interactive dance class

The traditional dance originates from my home in central Uganda.
The great thing about African dance, you don’t need prior experience to try it.  The drum beats will lead the way, check it out this Fall!

Soukouss is a party free style dance originated from Congo and widely popular in Uganda, East Africa and Africa at large.
It is a great step dance using all your body muscles. From head and hand gestures to hips, belly, legs and feet all moving in sync to Soukouss music.  Ideal for beginners and dancers interested in a free style dance, check it out this Fall!

Comfortable clothing is essential with any African dance. Tank tops or T-shirts, leggings or warm up pants, socks on or off.
