Michael Shain, of Eye Spy Environmental Testing, will be giving a free presentation entitled “Asthma: Is Your Home Making You Sick?” on March 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the East Meadow Public Library. This program will educate attendees on additional factors, such as pollutants in the air, that contribute to asthma. According to Shain, he will discuss how “individualized asthma care plans and asthma management programs must include steps to identify allergens and irritants, as well as reduce exposure to these triggers in all settings where those with asthma live and work.”
Shain has a MBA in Health Care Administration from Dowling College, a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering from Buffalo State University, is a New York State Home Inspector Instructor, a New York State Licensed Home Inspector, Certified Mold Technician, a Suffolk County Academy of Medicine Faculty Member for Continuing Education, a DEC Licensed Pesticide Applicator and Indoor Air Quality Technician.
