Elder Care Seminar

Senator Kemp Hannon will host a seminar on elder care, entitled “Planning Ahead: Boomers and Seniors Living in the 21st Century,” at the East Meadow Public Library on May 10 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Subjects will include estate planning, senior living options, Medicaid and much more. Nicole Zuvich, an elder law attorney, Marie Rakoczy, an elder car advisor, and William Worth, a New York State Partnership for Long Term Care financial advisor, will be the featured speakers.

“Elder Care is the fulfillment of the special needs and requirements that are unique to senior citizens,” said Senator Kemp Hannon in a statement from his office.  “This encompasses such services as assisted living, adult day care, long term care, nursing homes, hospice care, and In-Home care.”
