Free Alzheimer’s Seminar

Senator Kemp Hannon will host a free seminar on Alzheimer’s Disease on March 28 from 7 to 9 p.m. at MacArthur High School, located at 3369 North Jerusalem Road in Levittown.

“I urge anyone who is interested in learning more about this debilitating and mysterious disease to attend,” said Senator Hannon in a statement from his office.  “Whether you have a friend or a family member who may have or who may be at risk for Alzheimer’s, this event is a must!”

Dr. Alan Mazurek, a physician, Board Certified Neurologist and Assistant Clinical Professor at Mt. Sinai Hospital, will be the featured speaker at the meeting. Dr. Mazurek will talk about signs and symptoms, causes, medications that can help those dealing with Alzheimer’s and what can be done to lower your risk.
